Mr. Ray Mackay, a leading member of a diecast collectors' club in the south east of England obtained permission from Lesney Products to produce a promotional model celebrating the Rayleigh Swapmeet held on the 28th March 1981. The label was designed by Mr. Chris Roper. The first 45 models were allocated to the local club members and the remaining 555 mdels were sold on the day at the Swapmeet. The production run of 600 originally sold for £4.25.
